【Violence and Harassment Prevention e-learning for Home Nursing Office Staff】

• ・Currently, the National Police Agency and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare have issued notices to promote cooperation and collaboration among local governments to protect the safety of medical and nursing care workers, and to encourage the use of burglar alarms. Some local governments are considering measures against violence and harassment, and have begun to set up consultation offices and provide training, but it cannot be said that sufficient measures have yet been taken.

• ・Along with support from the government and other organizations, medical and nursing care workers involved in home care need to acquire the practical skills to deal with violence and harassment at their respective workplaces to avoid becoming victims of such incidents. Although there are some training programs organized by professional associations and local community organizations to provide basic knowledge on measures against violence and harassment, there are few opportunities for interested individuals to learn about them.
  To address this situation, we have created an “e-learning on Violence and Harassment Prevention for Staff of Home-Visit Nursing Facilities” (e-learning for Violence Prevention in Home-Visit Nursing).

• ・We will ask employees who have agreed to cooperate in the research to watch the “E-learning on Violence and Harassment Prevention for Home Nursing Office Employees” and to answer an online questionnaire after watching the e-learning. The usefulness of the study will be discussed in the questionnaire.

• １）Purpose of viewing
  To understand the basic knowledge with the aim of enabling staff of home nursing offices to consider and practice measures against violence and harassment by users and their families in their daily work.

• ・The entire three sections are 55 minutes long. Enrollment has ended.
  The case study requires more than 60 minutes for the entire viewing because the video needs time to pause and think.
• ・It takes about 5-10 minutes to complete the survey.
• ・Materials will be distributed only to applicants after they complete the questionnaire.
