For Violence and Harassment Prevention in Home Nursing

In recent years, incidents related to violence and harassment by users and family members in home health care and nursing care have been reported and recognized as a social problem. Some clinical sites have asked, “We are actually in trouble and would like to do something about it, but what should we do?” However, it is not easy for each office to discuss countermeasures.
Here, we will disseminate information on surveys, research, media coverage, and training focused on violence and harassment by users and family members against medical and nursing care workers. We hope you will use this as an opportunity to consider individual learning and organizational countermeasures.
